A riper profile than we’ve had in the past few vintages – peach, apricot, lees, and honeysuckle. A nice broad mid-palate with a spicy, dense finish.
In the 2015 vintage, our Viognier really made itself. Uniformity of ripening was unusually in balance, due to a nice string of consistent weather in the spring and then later in late summer. All vineyard blocks for this wine were picked and processed separately, and later blended together for the final bottling.
This wine pairs well with scallops, lobster, ginger-based curries, Gouda, and fruit salsas. Cheers!
