2017 Reserve Cabernet Franc
89% Cabernet Franc
Corry's Notes: The 2017 Reserve Cabernet Franc is blend of both Loudoun County (56%) and Shenandoah County (44%), which shows how both sites offer different blending components. The Loudoun portion gives ripe fruit and weight for the mid-palate, while the Shenandoah Springs side offers tannic structure. These two work together to create a complete wine with notes of stewed raspberries, blueberry, potpourri, and cedar. This wine was aged in some new as well as neutral French oak for a total of 16 months with the promise of aging in your cellar for years to come.
