Ever wondered what happens to grapes between harvest and your glass? Well, wonder no more! Join us for the Vine to Wine Harvest Tasting series for a fun, educational and informal look at the ongoing 2010 harvest, and discover first-hand what goes into winemaking from start to finish.
At each tasting we’ll highlight one specific grape varietal, and you’ll taste those grapes freshly plucked from the vine, that juice freshly pressed, that wine actively fermenting, and the final product from either our wine library or straight from the barrel.

Alex Carr is Sunset Hills Vineyard resident artist.
Her work will be displayed and for sale in our barn.
Alex paints in watercolors. Her work has been displayed in galleries in Colorado and Virginia.
Her work has also been shown at juried shows such at the "Mansion" in Morven Park, Leesburg; at Oatlands Plantation and others.
Alex was featured in Elan Magazine, September 2007 issue.
Alex offers art instruction in private, semi-private, and small group classes.
