75% Viognier, 25% Petit Manseng
Corry's Notes: With the Viognier in 2018, the key was balancing the desire to continue letting the fruit hang with the need for a good acidity--all the while hoping the rain would stay away long enough to achieve this balance. Luckily, Petit Manseng has made a great entrance into the Virginia wine scene. Petit Manseng makes a great blending partner for Viognier because of its naturally high acidity and tropical character, so I decided to make the match. The outcome is a medium weight wine with good aromatic intensity and delicate flavors.
